It’s strange the things in life we remember, it’s even stranger when we look at the experiences that we are consciously aware of that have shaped us.
For me one if these things is my first exposure to the game Go I went over to a friend’s house and his uncle had just come in from out of town, he worked for NASA as a rocket scientist (always think that funny!); in any event apparently he was quite the go fanatic and he introduced us to the game and showed us a board he carried with him.
Later I went home and read about the game more and as I started to contrast it to Chess found it to be much more representative of life today than Chess.
Take a few minutes and read this comparison of the two games and see what I mean..
