While looking around the web for links to stuff I have worked on (those who have worked with me know my memory is horrible) I ran across a post to the Daily Dave by Dan Greer that puts me in a group of "good security people" that I was flattered to be classed with.
Its pretty old (from 2005) and I thought twice about posting it here but its actually pretty poignant given the recent Symmantic statements about Vista.
I have to say one of the best parts of working at Microsoft is the having a chance to work with great people, I personally think Dan was right on with his list; I think many of those people made a big impact in the overall security posture of Microsoft and Windows.
For those of you who don't know Dan, he is a well respected security researcher who is not afraid to be unpopular and not exactly a Microsoft fan so him saying that they did something right by hiring those people (including me!, have I said that enough yet?) should mean something.
Microsoft doesn't exactly move fast, but when it decides to go someplace rain snow or shine we ultimately get there
