N+I Vegas here I come...

As I sit here sit here waiting for the town car to come and get me to take me to the airport and am starting to get excited about some of the announcements that folks are going to hear about from Microsoft its partners and TCG its going to be a good week for all things related to Network Access Control!

Update [5/25/07]: I am back from N+I and I thought I would share my  travel experience so you can see how bad my travel Karma is, remember that town car that I was waiting for? Well 10 minutes before he was supposed to be here I got a call saying he got a flat and that he wouldn’t make it; I honestly thought he was just giving a excuse to me because he slept in but as I was driving myself in I saw the  town car on the side of the freeway (less than a mile from my house) changing a flat.

Well since I was planning on taking the town car I didn’t leave enough time to park the car so when I got to the airport I was 10 minutes to late to get my bags checked (I never check bags but I had a ton of notebooks with me) for the flight I was scheduled for so I had to stand-by for the next flight.

Once I arrived it turns out that American Express traveled booked me into the “wrong” hotel, when I called to book this trip I tried to get into the Mandalay Bay but it was out of budget and since many of my co-workers were staying at the Flamingo I asked them to put me there HOWEVER they put me in the Hilton Gardens at the Flamingo instead! It was a fine room, and probably nicer than the room I would have gotten at the Flamingo but I waited in line for about 30min to be told I was in the wrong place J

All in-all the trip went fine and we had a number of great partner announcements as well as one biggy of our own come out; I would certainly call N+I Vegas a success for Microsoft.
