As I said the other day (see: Samsung SPF-72V Picture Frame Review) I was underwhelmed with my experience with the Samsung Picture Frame I purchased, thus I returned it.
Turns out Buy.com has somewhat of a crummy return policy, 1st their website won't allow a return for cash back if you have opened the package; defective, incompatible or otherwise, 2nd when you call they will give you a refund but you have to pay return shipping regardless of the cause (in my case the unit was both defective and incompatible), 3rd they take 15 (or more) days to process a refund.
In any event, the return is on its way back to them via USPS ($13) and I have ordered a replacement; this time the iMate Momento 100, it was $100 more than the Samsung (ouch!) but its 4 inches bigger, supports Sideshow and hopefully will support WPA2 in the "near" future.
Omar, whom I respect (I have worked with in the past when he was on the MAC team here at Microsoft) has one and gave it a good review, so I am optimistic.
I did write iMate seeing if they had any updates on the impending WPA2 support I was told it will be available for this device but as I expected they could not confirm even a rough date (I guy has to ask doesn't he?).
